Future

Where the local church gets its leaders.

The School of Ministry is the founding program of The Hope College, Inc. It trains pastors, teachers, preachers, and ministers for every function of the local church — through rigorous theological education, an integrated apologetics spine, and mentored formation that reaches the whole person.

Every Scholar begins at MOD 01. There are no seniority exemptions. The foundational formation the first twelve modules provide is not replaceable by credentials or years of experience. The church deserves ministers who have been genuinely formed — and formation takes time.

The School of Ministry launches its founding cohort in September 2026 in Jackson, New Jersey. Cohort size is limited by design. The formation model requires community, and community requires limits.

Who This Is For
Anyone who has heard the call to lead in the local church — whether pursuing ordination or serving as a lay leader. The School of Ministry has a track for both.
What You Leave With
A Certificate of Ministry Formation (Lay Leader Track) or a Diploma in Ministry Leadership (Vocational Track). More importantly, a formed life that matches the doctrine it teaches.
What It Costs
$99 per module for the Lay Leader Track. $199 per module for the Vocational Track. No hidden fees. No debt. The full cost of either track is visible before you begin.

One formation model. Two destinations.

Both tracks share the same foundational modules, the same apologetics spine, and the same formation model. Scholars may transition from the Lay Leader Track to the Vocational Track with Faculty Fellow approval.

A hybrid model built around the local church.

The School of Ministry uses a hybrid delivery model. Formation happens in community, and the delivery model is designed to protect that — while remaining accessible to ministers who are already serving in the local church.

I
Monthly Cohort Gatherings
In-person gatherings monthly in Jackson, New Jersey. Community, worship, teaching, and formation in the room together. This is where The Fellowship becomes real.
II
Weekly Online Forum
Structured weekly forum discussions between cohort gatherings. Faculty Fellows engage Scholar responses with depth and pastoral sensitivity.
III
Faculty Fellow Mentorship
Every Vocational Scholar is assigned a Faculty Fellow mentor. Bi-monthly one-on-one sessions. Theological journal review. Honest formation feedback throughout.
IV
Guided Digital Learning
AI-assisted tools for independent study, writing support, theological reflection, and apologetics engagement. Technology serves formation — it does not replace it.
The Vision

The School of Ministry is where we start. Seven schools is where we are going.

The Hope College, Inc. exists to raise up servants for every function of the local church. The School of Ministry launches in September 2026. The other schools will develop as God provides the faculty, students, and resources.
